The Superintendent Effect: National Leadership Forum on Youth Mental Health brings superintendents together to explore how leadership shapes student well-being, community strength, and long-term success.

Join us at the Gallup World Headquarters in Washington, DC for this three-day leadership experience featuring industry experts, mental health professionals, and district leaders for insights on the superintendent’s unique influence and the critical role of youth mental health in education’s future.

Hosted by the Cook Center for Human Connection in partnership with Gallup.

As our exclusive guest, the Cook Center will provide a scholarship for the registration fee for you and up to two members of your staff. You will be responsible for your travel and accommodations.

Announced Speakers

Jim Quigley

Jim Quigley, co-founder and CEO of the School Leadership Alliance foundation, seeks to assist superintendents with their huge responsibility of developing leaders in their districts.

Jim is a CEO Emeritus of Deloitte Global. Throughout his 38 years with Deloitte, Jim has held numerous key leadership roles. He began and continues to assist in the development of the Courageous Principals program: an award-winning, global leadership development program for K-12 school leaders.

Jim serves as Chairman of the Board for HESS Corporation and Advisory Board Member of The Olayan Group. In addition, Jim is a member of the National Advisory Committee for BYU and the University of Utah.

Dr. Taryn Marie

Founder and Chief Resilience Officer of the Resilience Leadership Institute, Former Head of Executive Leadership Development and Talent Strategy at Nike, Former Head of Global Leadership Development at Cigna.
 

Dr. Taryn Marie is an international expert on resilience focused on positively impacting and empowering individuals, teams, and organizations to grow and accelerate by leveraging The Five Practices of Highly Resilient People framework, developed over two decades of research.
