Thank you for submitting an application for a Calm Room Matching Grant from the Cook Center for Human Connection.  We had over 70 applicants respond to the grant and were able to fund 26 grant. Unfortunately, your submission was not selected for funding.

We so appreciate your concern for the mental health of your students, staff and families. We would like to offer you another no-cost parent resource to help with the mental health of families in your district.

ParentGuidance.org is a set of mental health resources that give parents of your students the tools to have meaningful conversations at home with their families. ParentGuidance.org was designed to help educators help parents help their children by providing expert mental health education.

We know that many families and communities have historically had difficulty accessing this type of information.

ParentGuidance.org is a service provided by The Cook Center for Human Connection, as you know, we are a nonprofit foundation.  These resources are provided at no-cost to the district and no-cost to parents. Parents are able to go to ParentGuidance.org and create a free account, and then they will receive the following:

Free Online On-Demand Courses taught by licensed mental health professionals

Access to Ask a Therapist — user submitted questions and clinician responses

A medallion to be placed on your website so that parents can easily find and access this resource.
